Hadley is 14 months 1 week and 3 days old *she has short, thin, red mullet-esk hair; however, in a wind storm or after a rough nap it is revealed that her hair is easily 3 inches in some place...key word,
some places *sometimes when you ask her her name she will say Hah lee or Hah du lee du lee du lee du lee*she can point out her eyes, ears, head, teeth, tongue, and toes *she refuses to point to her nose *she will tell you that a cow says boooo, a dog quietly says
woof, a cat says neow, a lion says rarr, grandpa says rarr (Aunt Val taught her), and a sheep says baaaa *she currently tells you nnnnnO anytime you ask her anything; however, she politely says "take to" anytime you hand her anything *she refuses to say please, instead just puts her hands up and says ahh, ahh, ahh (or however you spell the whining sound) until you give her what she has in mind *she refers to anything that is round or circular as a ball...I love taking her to the grocery store and walking through the produce section, it is ball heaven there; the other day a lady corrected her and said, no, that is a tomato. I just smiled. I also love that now that she is in a forward facing car seat she can see the traffic lights and points and calls them balls too. *she just graduated to a forward facing car seat...much to Kyle's dismay. I honestly think he would prefer her to be rear facing until she is 3...IT'S SAFER. It is just too bad that the car seat we got won't fit backwards in our cars. *she for sure has 10 teeth, possibly two more...it is very dangerous checking in that little mouth. *she loves to brush her teeth herself. Any time she sees us doing it she points to the drawer where hers is. *when she sees a picture of Jesus she points and says seesus *she calls Kyle daa daa *she calls me daa daa (she use to call me mah ma; don't know what happened) *she calls my dad bop pa *when we were with Papa Bart she kind of got confused when we said he was Grandpa too. Now every man is bop pa. *she loves daaaaww (dogs) since we have been in Idaho, the first thing she has said EVERY morning is daaawww as she points to go outside; bop pa then takes her out to see "say dee daaawww" *she calls her dolls and stuffed animals baby and holds them on her side and bonces them while saying shhh shh shh *she is quite the little dancer, she loves dancing to the opening credits of Gilmore Girls, commercials, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We love turning on my Ipod and letting her haul it around dancing. *she generally sleeps from 8pm to 7am and takes two, two hour naps*she loves holding keys and takes them to the door and tries to unlock it. *when I say one she will say two
As you can tell we obviously love her sooo much and can't imagine our lives without her.
Her words: dada, mama, papa, baby, ball, keys, shoes, toes, eye, trey, no!, uh-oh, trah er (tractor), hi, bye, hello, tree, dog, puppy, Jesus, thank you, fish, bow....I am sure there are a few others I can't think of.
