3.3 - 4 Months

four months. Four Months. FOUR MONTHS?!?!?!

It is hard to imagine that (a) he is four months old and (b) that he has only been in our lives for four months! 

{I will add stats after his four month check-up next week}

This past month: Lincoln has had a couple of run-ins with sickness.  He currently has a little bit of a fever/runny nose.  We were originally attributing this to..."maybe he is getting teeth?" {the main cause of infant crabbiness} but three days later, still no teeth.  Other than the past few days, Lincoln is still the happiest little guy.  *This month he has started reaching for things and grabbing.  Hadley is very excited that he finally likes toys! *He still ALWAYS has his hands in his mouth. *He drools sooo much! *He has the BEST laugh and is so ticklish! You just have to touch his neck and it sends him into the giggles! It is fun getting him dressed because when the shirt touches his neck he just starts squirming and giggling. *Smiles at anyone that looks his way. *Is becoming a very distracted eater. Any time Kyle or Hadley are around he just stops and smiles at them. *Has woken up more in the night this past month than he has in his entire life {which still isn't that much, but I am not use to waking up!} *We are working on having him put himself to sleep.  He does great for me for naps, but as the day gets later he usually requires being held {from dad, the softie} to get to sleep.  *Is becoming quite the escape artist with the swaddle.  Getting his arms in and staying in is quite the feat {and we are GOOD swaddlers!} *Doesn't take a bottle OR a pacifier.  *Getting better at traveling in his carseat. *Had the best little crooked smile and dimples *Just an absolute little doll!
